About Aftercart Makers

Aftercart Makers compares inventory and costing software for handmade product businesses. It is operated by Nathan Procter, an independent publisher based in the UK.

The focus is practical: raw materials, recipes, production batches, cost of goods sold, marketplace connections and moving records between systems.

How recommendations are made

Guides state the criteria behind their recommendations and the date the evidence was checked. Prices, limits and integration claims are checked against vendor documentation. A planned feature is not treated as available.

Research and drafting use AI tools. A guide based on public documentation is labelled that way. We only describe hands-on testing when it was actually carried out and can explain what was tested.

Vendors can point out factual errors. They do not choose our rankings or conclusions. A tool can be a poor fit even when it offers an affiliate programme.

How the site is funded

We intend to earn commission from clearly labelled affiliate links. As of 6 September 2026, there are no active affiliate links in our published guides. See the affiliate disclosure for the current position.
